“My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” This classic quotation from The Princess Bride is my business mantra. Like Inigo Montoya, I believe that if the corporate “father” (meaning the home company) is deserted or sold out, a grave dishonor has befallen the “family”. I also believe in going after the rats that are disloyal to the company. So, unless you want an angry Spaniard chasing you through Western Europe with a vendetta, stay true to your company and don’t sell out your stock options to the first person who comes along with a few greenbacks. That is never a good decision. Well, maybe we’re being more dramatic than a telenovela on Direct Television, but you get the point.
